New coaching sessions for 2025

Dear Tamworth Squash Members

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and are ready for an exciting year of squash in 2025.

We’re making some changes to our coaching sessions starting Thursday, 16th January. Here’s what’s new:

• New Day: Coaching will move from Tuesday nights to Thursday nights.

• New Times:
• Session 1: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Session 2: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Additionally, the sessions will now be mixed-gender and tailored more to what you want to get out of squash, whether that’s improving your game, fitness, or technique and most importantly, Fun!

To ensure everyone gets the most out of these sessions, I’ll also be introducing squash grades. Your level will guide us on which session you would likely get the most out of, so you’ll be grouped with players of a similar ability for more effective and focused training. I will go in to more detail about this on the first session on the 16th. This is more targeted for new Tamworth members joining rather than existing coaching members. For the first few weeks, there will be no group changes so please turn up to your normal sessions of 7pm ladies and 8pm men’s.

I'm really excited about these changes and confident they’ll help everyone progress in their game while keeping things fun and inclusive. If you have any questions feel free to reach out, just reply to this email and it will come directly to me.

If anyone has any questions or would like to know more, again, just hit reply and ask, I'm here to help.

Looking forward to seeing you all on court and wishing you a fantastic start to the New Year!

Best regards,

Aaron
