First Aid Session

Evening all

Apologies for the late notice but there is a first aid course being run in the clubhouse on Thursday 7th December by Simon Gilbert from the hockey section.

Following a medical incident at the hockey pitch in October (to which there was an excellent outcome I can happily report), Simon will be covering basic life support for adults and infants, scene safety, use of a defibrillator and an understanding of what the defibrillator does.

The session will run from 7pm to 9pm and although it does not provide certification, it will be very informative. Simon trains new firefighting recruits and is very knowledgeable.

The bar will be open and there will be cake sale to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance who assisted in the incident at the hockey pitch.

The event is free of charge but donations to the Air Ambulance would be welcomed.

Please contact me if you are able to attend.

Regards

Clare
