No Access to Changing Rooms on Saturday Afternoons

Dear all

It has been agreed within the overall club that due to a shortage of changing facilities for cricket umpires and the very minimal usage of the squash courts on Saturdays, the squash changing rooms will be closed to squash members and will be reserved for cricket umpires on Saturdays. It is a regulation of the cricket league that the umpires must be provided with a secure changing room.

This is only a short term measure until the end of the cricket season (Saturday 12th September).

The club is looking to change the current configuration of the changing rooms overall so this will hopefully be the only time that this measure is needed.

There is a shower and changing facility within the disabled toilet in the clubhouse should members require changing and showering facilities.

We trust you can be understanding of this situation as it should cause very minimal to no disruption after studying the booking patterns of recent Saturdays.

If you do have any concerns, please do contact me.

Regards

Clare Phillips
